I decided to start decorating for Halloween! I only started the inside, but I did make my outside wreath and did decide to hang that. Here's a look at some pics of what I did....
I made the bunting out of black burlap and orange ribbon. I painted the letters on myself and then decided that it needed some witch legs, so with my scraps from the wreath (see below) I made some legs.
The full view of the mantle - complete with indoor wreath, candle sticks, bunting and flowers. I love it!
I love this wreath! Toole, witch legs and hand painted wooden sign! What more could a girl ask for!
A close up of the bunting. I used some extra scraps to cover the mantle.
I found this vase at Goodwill for $2.99, complete with the flowers. PS it was 30% off. I spray painted the flowers black and frosted the vase with the frost spray paint.
The candke sticks, $3.99 and $5.99 for each set. And 30% off. Spray painted black. DONE!
Ribbon garland. Scraps of fabric, left over from the outdoor wreath. Tied around my orange lights! Who doesn't love Halloween?!
Here's those candle sitcks again. During the spray paint process....
Those flowers in the background were the ones that came in my little $2.99 vase.
The outdoor wreath! I love it! Wire wreath, lots of scraps of fabric, lots of tying.
Voila! What's on my front door right now! Thanks Pinterest for all of the ideas, which I tweaked to my taste!
